Hi I'm Melissa

Hi, I'm a homemaker and mother of four children. I enjoy travelling, reading, jogging, swimming, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Provo, Utah. I was one of eight children. I attended Brigham Young University and majored in International Relations. I served an 18 month mission to Haiti. I love being home with my children. I enjoy substitute teaching in the local schools. My husband and I enjoy travelling together and seeing new places. I love being in water; love the beach; love to swim; love to go boating. I love to organize and take care of my home.

Why I am a Mormon

I treasure my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is the pearl of great price that provides purpose and direction to my life. I love to serve others and find joy in helping others. I find many opportunities to serve and love others within the church. I'm grateful for the continued opportunity to learn about my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and why I'm here on this earth.

How I live my faith

I read and study my scriptures daily. Prayer is also an important part of my life. I'm one of the three leaders in the Relief Society (the women's organization) in our congregation. I coordinate our Sunday instruction. I occasionally teach the women of our congregation. I try to participate in all activites that the church has to offer. I teach my chidren the gospel by word and example. I truly love the gospel of Jesus Christ.
