Hi I'm Robert

I am a trucker, a golfer, a grandpa, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a truck driver, a business owner, and a golfer, all of which I learned from my dad. I was lucky to marry my high school sweetheart, and we've been married and lived in the same town for 35 years. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my four kids and five grandkids. My family is amazing.

Why I am a Mormon

I knew that there was a God all of my life but always I guess that I hoped that there was more. I was fortunate that a young Mormon girl took a chance on me and maybe saw a little potential. As I had questions I would speak to her dad and he was always willing to share his thoughts and knowledge with me. I have always wanted to be with my wife and children forever and not just while on this earth and when I found out that there was a way I wanted to know more. I also came to the realization that it wouldn't just happen and I couldn't do it alone. I needed my Savior Jesus Christ to be my advocate for all of the shortcomings and issues in my life. I love all the goodness that this church brings into my life from its teachings to its people. It just feels good to be a member.

How I live my faith

Thirty-eight years of driving almost three million miles in all fifty states has given me a deep appreciation for the beautiful land that we live in. I am thankful to be blessed with the opportunity to travel and interact with people from all across the country. I serve my community as much as I can; I've been a school board member for nine years. I've had the amazing opportunity to serve a Boy Scout leader and work with the youth. Most of all, I just try to be a good husband, father, neighbor, and friend.
