Hi I'm Chad

I live in Arizona. I am a registered nurse. I am a father of four. I have been married for fifteen years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am almost forty years old and feeling it! My abilities on the basketball court are definitely vanishing. I like to play basketball about once a week in pickup games, nothing organized. I have worked as a registered nurse for about sixteen years. I am married and I have four children. I have been married for fifteen years and it is the best decision I ever made.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon since age eight. All of my family are Mormon. All of my parents' five children served as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. Because of my family, I have been able to witness many times that God does watch over and bless his children who are trying to do what is right. I have also learned for myself that God is real, and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I have had opportunities to bear my own personal witness to others of the truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and have the Spirit of the Lord confirm to me and those present that it is true. As a father of four children, I feel it is now even more important to continue to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, so that my family and I will be blessed. I know that God lives, that he hears and answers prayers, and that his church is once again upon the earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church with my family each Sunday. I know that my family has been blessed by attending church. In addition to all of the spiritual blessings, we have all been blessed with an increased number of friends and acquaintances merely by attending chuch. I also live my faith by personally reading the scriptures and reading the scriptures as a family on a regular basis. Reading my scriptues has been a great guide in my life. I also live my faith by doing service. There are plenty of opportunities to serve when you are a member of this church. One recurring oppotunity of service is helping others move in and out of their homes. My family has also participated in clothing drives for the poor, painting at an elementary school, working on a church farm, cleaning up the yards of abandoned homes in the community, etc. Finally, I live my faith by donating money for humanitarian services and for the poor locally. I am greatful for all of the service and donations which occur throughout the world. I believe our world is a much better place because of the countless hours of service and donations in the world today.
