Hi I'm Nicole

I am an identical twin and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second child of four, the second because I was born before my twin sister. The other two are my brothers. I play the cello and would rather play in a group than do a solo. I like to knit on occasion. I plan to be a chemical engineer and have several semesters of college under my belt. I chose chemical engineering because I love chemistry and I enjoy problem solving. I participated in the pit orchestra in several musicals while I was in high school. I am also a huge fan of chocolate.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have two wonderful parents who let me make my own decisions. I stay in the church because I asked for myself if what I was being taught was true. I prayed to know for myself and Heavenly Father answered my prayers. I have had many prayers answered in my life, whether it was to help me do my best on a test or to give me peace and calm during challenges I faced. I have felt the Holy Ghost in my life as it has testified to me of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and as it has given me peace in my life. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God who was called to translate the Book of Mormon and to restore the church. I know that we have a living prophet today. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that through the Atonement, it is possible to be forgiven of our sins. I know that Heavenly Father loves each of us and has made a way for us to return to Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church each week. I help teach the children and have taught children who were 3-6 and children who were 8-10. It is enjoyable to teach children from the scriptures and about our Savior, Jesus Christ. I read my scriptures daily and make sure to spend time each day to communicate with our Heavenly Father through prayer. I help the missionaries where I live by going out to help them teach people who are interested in learning about our church and Jesus Christ. I do my best to live the principles I am taught like serving others. I also love listening to the words of our prophet and leaders at the meeting that happens twice a year where our prophet and leaders address all the members of our church.
