Hi I'm Mike

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I go to college at BYU-Idaho. My course of study is music education and I am a percussionist, or, in other words, I like to play the drums!

Why I am a Mormon

I always knew that this church was the one God indended for me and all of His children to go to, but as a youth I didn't really understand why nor cared to follow the teachings of the church. Heavenly Father was good to me and gave me a chance to change my life around. I took it! I have earlestly and honestly studied the Book of Mormon and after praying sincerely I have recieved a personal testimony of its truth and divinity. I know it's true. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

At college we have student wards, or congregations. Practically the whole ward is run by the students. I have had a chance to help lead the men's group and look over their physical and spiritual well-being. Home teaching is my favorite way to live my faith. Going into the homes of my brothers and sisters and letting them see another face that cares about them is amazing. Then teaching and discussing about what will help them the most, the word of God, helps me to feel a little of what the Savior may have felt when He taught.
