Hi I'm JoAnn

I grew up in Baker County Oregon. I worked in banking for several years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been retired from working for several years. I am a mother of a daughter and a son. I am a grandmother of 4. My oldest grandchild graduated from ASU. My oldest granddaughter and second grandson has graduated from High School. My youngest grandchild is in grade school. My oldest grandchild served a mission in Peru and baptized many people into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I lost my husband due to surgery complications while our grandson was in the Mission field. I have felt the power of the Holy Ghost in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was from a pioneer family and my father was a convert. My maternal grandparents were baptized in Switzerland and immigrated to Utah. I was raised in a Mormon home and was baptized at the age of 8. My parents were always good examples to me about how to live and be honest with your fellow citizens. My mother passed away when I was sixteen, my father kept the family strong in the church. It meant and means everything to me that our family was sealed together in the Temple and we will always be together as a family. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints means the world to me and I feel blessed to belong to the Saviors Church.

How I live my faith

I have taught the children in Primary, I have worked in the Women's Organization, and I have served as a ward missionary. I am currently teaching the children that are just turning eight and the lessons are preparing them for baptism. I love these children and their willingness to learn to always Choose the Right. I am a daughter of Heavenly parents and I am so thankful for the plan of salvation. I have a strong testimony of the Holy Ghost and I know that those that have passed on before us are close by. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus love me and I love them and will always keep the commandments as I want to be where they are someday.
