Hi I'm Gabriela

I'm an identical twin, I play the viola, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the middle child in my family. I have an older brother, a younger brother, and an identical twin sister. I adore listening to music, and playing my viola. I love to read, and consider the library to be one of my "happy places". I also have fun crocheting toys and whatever strikes my fancy. I love the outdoors. I don't nearly do enough hiking, etc. You truly can see God's hand in the trees, the mountains, the plants, and animals. I finished my first year of college, and am interested in majoring in International Studies. However, I am excited to take leave from college so that I can serve a mission. I am a happy person.

Why I am a Mormon

I know it is true. All of it. I have read and studied the Book of Mormon. I have attended church, involved myself in it. I have prayed to know if it was true, and I know. I know that the Book of Mormon is truly a record from an ancient people, another testimony of Jesus Christ, just like the Bible. I know that Joseph Smith truly was a prophet, that he did restore the true church. I know that the president of the church today is truly a prophet, ordained of God. I know that it truly is possible to have an eternal family. Nowhere else is there such peace and joy to be found! Nowhere else have I felt such encompassing love. God loves us. He has given us a way to return home to Him, to live eternally with our families. In the end, how can I not be a Mormon? For this church-this marvelous, amazing, true church- is my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live it everyday through my actions, my words, and my thoughts. I attend church every Sunday, study my scriptures daily, and pray daily.I try to share the talents I have been given with others. To me, living my faith is done through simple daily things that help me to remember Christ, and to emulate His example.
