Hi I'm Jamie.

I'm a wife. I love to create. I'm a mom of 6 and keep a smile on my face. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to a good, strong man who is my best friend.  I am a mother to six fun and beautiful kids, three boys and three girls, who test me, try me and keep me going everyday. I love to create.... food, fun, crafts, something from nothing, happiness, smiles and the list goes on. I love challenges and knowing that I can do hard things, even when at times I think I can't. I love sunsets, fresh raspberries, a good book and good music. I love spending time with my family and I love to laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that Heavenly Fathers Plan is real. I know that He reveals things through a modern-day prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. I am a mormon because my family is the most important thing to me in my life and I know that we can be together forever through the blessings of the temple. I am a mormon because I know the scriptures are true and that they are a guide and resource for me in my life. I am a mormon because the Holy Ghost has born witness to me that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that I can live with my Heavenly Father again someday as I keep the commandments and covenants I have made in my life.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to teach the women in our church. I teach them from a book called Gospel Principles. They are lessons that are based around the basic principles of the church. Although I have been a member of the church my whole life, I learn something new each time I teach. I love the discussions that come up when questions are asked and that we, as women, can help strengthen, support and uplift one another each week when we meet. I also work with the 9 year old girls and hold activies twice a month to help them develop talents, build self-esteem, serve others and develop their faith in God. They are full of fun and energy and teach me as I try to teach them. It is a great opportunity to work with them and teach them about my love for the Savior and His love for each one of them.
