Hi I'm Brittany

I am a wife and mother of two. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am almost 30 years-old and I have been blessed to have been born and raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been married for 9 years and for the last 3 years I have been fortunate to fulfill the role of a stay-at-home mom with our 3 year-old and a 4 month-old. I currently spend my days running early in the morning (before my husband heads off to work), having preschool with my 3 year-old (during the 4 months-old nap), and we spend as much time as we can playing outside.

Why I am a Mormon

Like I stated before, I have been a Mormon my entire life. Being a member has blessed me with the knowledge of our preexistence, the goal or purpose of this life, and what to expect beyond this life. It has guided me and continues to direct me to fulfill all that brings me true happiness. I am grateful for the example of my Savior Jesus Christ and for the atonement that makes it possible for me to seek forgiveness and live with my family forever. I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who wants all his children to come to Him and to become like Him and He makes it possible by providing us direction through the scriptures, prayer, and through revelation both personal and through a living Prophet. I know my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and that the Book of Mormon is a true record of those who lived upon the American continent. I am grateful for the restoration of the gospel through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I have ancestors who were converted and who were among the early pioneers and reading their journals, their experiences, puts me in awe of their faith. They experienced so much tribulation for their faith and they could have easily decided that it was to hard and chosen a different religion, but they knew, as I know, that this Gospel is true. My life has been extremely blessed with the restoration of the Priesthood power. The Priesthood has made it possible for me to be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost, recover from near death illness, be sealed to my husband and children for eternity, and provides a peace of mind knowing that my husband lives his life worthy to hold and use the Priesthood to bless our home and our family.

How I live my faith

I am fortunate to have the opportunity to serve the children in my ward. I love working with the nursery and primary aged children. They stregthen my faith through their words and actions and I love the simplicity with which they see the world. They help me reevaluate some of the struggles and stresses in my life and remind me of what is truely important. The support that the church provides in teaching the Primary children has also blessed me in teaching and reinforcing the gospel principles in my home.
