Hi I'm Liz

I am a mother of five beautiful children. I love my husband, my family and my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

From the time that I was a little girl, I always knew I wanted to be a mom. Even when faced with infertility, I believed God would bless me with children. I'm now the mom to five adopted children who I know were meant to be mine. I love raising my family, and when obstacles and hard times come, I take great comfort in remembering that this was meant to be. God is at the helm. I'm grateful that through the gospel of Jesus Christ, my husband and I can be with our children forever. Our family lives on a couple acres in the city with a few chickens and room to roam. I'm blessed to be a stay-at-home mom and loved spending time helping at my children's school, scrap-booking, and working on fixing up our property. My husband is my best friend. I love the time of day where he is home and we can laugh and talk about the crazy things that happened while we were apart. I am busy- but content!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was still a toddler so I only remember being a member. I also know that the time came when I had to decide for myself what I believed and what I wanted to have happen with my life. I know I have felt the most peace when I am following the Savior, even when things are going wrong. The trials that I have faced in life have strengthened my testimony of Jesus Christ. What a blessing to know that He understands my fears and pains. I never have to be alone.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a den leader for the Webelos in our church's Cub Scout pack. I love how opportunities to help in the church develop our talents, sometimes in ways we don't expect! I enjoy being with the youth and watching them grow and succeed.
