Hi I'm Jeni

I'm a wife. I'm a mother of four. I love nature, baking and blogging. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 11 years to my best friend and we have four beautiful children together. I am a stay-at-home mom and I absolutely love it! My favorite thing to do is to spend time as a family, either working on home improvement projects, playing games, crafting, laughing or just simply hanging out together. My husband and I share a passion for landscaping which is one of the ways that we enjoy spending time together. We're also in the process of starting a new family business, which will be a Christmas tree farm! When I have free time, I enjoy reading, arranging flowers, baking and blogging.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I joined the church when I was eight, I didn't really gain my own testimony until I moved away to college. While studying Landscape Horticulture there, I also attended extra classes at the Institute of Religion. As I studied more about the Book of Mormon and the history of the church there, my testimony developed and I knew that I was in the right place and that living the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ brought true happiness. Today I can whole-heartedly say that everything good in my life can be attributed to my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

In our home, we strive to have regular family home evenings, family scripture study and family prayer. We try to follow the teachings of Jesus and to become more like Him. In the church, I used to serve as the teacher to the 3 and 4 year olds. I really enjoyed interacting with these sweet spirits and watching their love for the Savior grow. Recently, I received a new opportunity to serve in the women's organization as the education counselor. I am excited to serve with these amazing women. Once a month I also visit two sisters to see how they are doing, help where I can and make sure they know that they are loved and appreciated.
