Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with five children. I am a financial advisor specializing in retirement and tax planning. I served a two-year mission for the Church in Mexico and have held various other positions in the Church including service in its youth programs such as the Boy Scouts. My interests include sports, outdoor activites, writing, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was priveleged to be born into the Church, like most of us I was challenged with questions early in my life concerning the truth about religion. I, too, wondered which of the many churches is the church that Christ leads, for I did not believe nor can I believe now that He is a God of confusion. Over time, I developed my own belief and assurity of the truthfulness of the Mormon story. I have fasted and prayed many years that I might know these things of myself, independent of any other person. I am convinced with spiritual certainty that this is the church that Christ leads and that it is the fold where He would have His sheep gather.

How I live my faith

I have many regrets in my life but being a member of this Church is not one of them. It is because of this Church that I continue to evolve in faith and obedience. Over the years I have served in many capacities within the Church organization as both a servant and a leader. I have come to understand that it does not matter where you serve in the Church, the community, or the nation, but how you serve. I am doing the best I can to further the work of Christ in whatever capacity I am involved.
