Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a husband, father, physician and a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of five beautiful children. I am a family physician practicing medicine in a rural town in central Washington state. I love to spend time with my family camping and hiking in the beautiful Northwest. I enjoy water sports in the summer and skiing in the winter.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a strong LDS family with a great legacy of faithful service in the church. I have always attended church and have witnessed firsthand the joy that comes from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a teenager I needed to know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints was the true and living church upon the earth. I read and studied the book of Mormon and ask my Heavenly Father if it was true. I received a witness to my soul that indeed this is the true church of God on the earth. Our heavenly father loves us, he wants us to be happy and has given us commandments that will allow us to find peace, joy and happiness in this life and return to live with him in the next life. I know that following God's plan brings us this happiness. I know that Jesus Christ as our Savior, that he atoned for our sins and that through him we can find forgiveness for our faults and mistakes.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my life as an example of the teachings I believe in. I try to emulate the Savior in the things that I do and say as I serve my family, my patients and my fellow man. Serving the church brings much joy and happiness in my life. The Mormon church is different from others in that we have no paid ministry and all of the members take turns in leadership and teaching positions. These opportunities give us chances to grow and to serve others. I have the wonderful blessing currently of being the Bishop or leader of our congregation. It is a wonderful blessing in my life to help others overcome temptation and problems and to grow and develop in the Gospel.
