Hi I'm Matt

I'm a Father. I'm an artist. I'm a college student. I have scoliosis and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 2 children. I'm a husband. I work as a graphic artist while I work my way through college with the hope of getting into dental school. I love music, cars, running swimming and saltwater fish. My family stays close by singing, reading and watching movies together. I have scoliosis and have had 5 surgeries as a result. I don't let my scoliosis keep me down and I try to keep my self strong. I moved more then 30 times growing up.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love to read and study the scriptures. I have testimony that God loves me, That Jesus is my divine savior. I have come to know of the truthfulness of the gospel through personal study and prayer. I have had these things witnessed to me by the whisperings of the holy ghost as I have sought out knowledge from the Lord. It is my testimony that Joseph Smith was called of good to restore the gospel of Christ on the earth in its fullness. I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is a collection of true scripture inspired preserved and and delivered to us today by the power of God that we might know of the truthfulness of Christ and his ministry.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. My family studies scriptures every night. We pray together every day and we have family night at lest once a week. My wife and I work together to help the members of our community. My wife leads a group of cub scouts in their activities once a week and I help to organize activities and Sunday school activities for the men at church. I also volunteer to help people at church find ways to keep extra food on hand at home so that it can be used to help their families and friends and other members of the community in times of need. In Oklahoma this comes in handy quite often as we have our share of tornadoes come though our area almost every year.
