Hi I'm Jozianne

"I have a great husband, 3 wonderful daughters, 2 super son-in-laws, and 6 fun siblings. We love families. I'm a Mormon"

About Me

I am a wife, a mom, a sister, a daughter, a college graduate, a basketball and volleyball referee, a crossing guard at the local elementary school, and a fan of walking and health. I grew up in a small town in Colorado. We loved to play all different sports as a family. One of my favorite memories is going to the park on Monday night, during the summer, to play softball and have root beer floats together. I loved being involved in many activites and intramural sports while attending college. When my husband and I were first married I taught him how to play racquetball. I could beat him pretty good back then, but our frequent "dates" to the court ended that reign quickly. We enjoyed playing and being together and still do. We love playing games, riding bikes, and watching movies with our three girls. They are grown now; going to college, one has found that special someone, and all are working to be good people. I am looking forward to seeing my little family grow and spending time together. I hope to stay active and healthy at home, work, church, and play.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. It gives me purpose and meaning in my life. I know that I have a Savior who loves me. I know that his gospel has been restored to the earth through the power of the priesthood, that same priesthood power that existed during ancient times. I am grateful to know that the principles and values of the gospel my husband and I have taught to our daughters have eternal meaning. We are free to choose, but the right choices bring great happiness.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth in the church. We have spiritual lessons on Sunday and different activities on Wednesday evenings. These are fun, active, intelligent young people. They are choosing to live the standards of the church. Knowing that they are spiritual children of a loving Father in Heaven gives them a strong foundation to meet the challenges in the outside world. Each day I go for a walk and think about my blessings. I think about what I need to do that day to become a better person. I read the scriptures and pray for daily spiritual guidance.
