Hi I'm Louise

I feel so blessed to be a Mormon!

About Me

I love my family. I've been married to a wonderful man since 1984. We have three grown children. I'm looking forward to being a grandma someday. I love music, and I taught piano lessons for 23 years. Our family likes to spend time singing and playing board games together. I enjoy walking, gardening, reading and cooking. I also like to entertain friends. Recently, my husband and I have decided we want to learn how to golf. We'll see how that goes.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I like how it feels to find truth and to apply it. Mormons are continually encouraged to prayerfully seek answers to their questions and to read the scriptures. As a result, I feel confident that God loves me and gives me direction in my life. I am so thankful for a living prophet who leads us. I'm grateful for the teachings in The Bible. I have read The Book of Mormon several times now. I find that it contains powerful truths that bring me even closer to being a true disciple of Christ. This is information is incredibly valuable in this day and age. I am also grateful for the Priesthood authority to perform saving ordinances such as baptism, confirmation, endowments and eternal marriage. I believe that family relationships should and can last.

How I live my faith

My current calling in the church is the president of the women's organization of our congregation. This group is called Relief Society. Our goals are to increase the faith of each member, to help strengthen families, and to provide relief and service to those who are struggling. I love people and I enjoy coordinating the combined efforts of good women to accomplish good. Whether it's a meal or a listening ear, women seem to know how to nurture and love. I really enjoy being involved.
