Hi I'm Chad

I'm a Mormon native to the state of Colorado and joined the church when I was a young man.

About Me

I am a father of 4 kids from 3 years old to 13 years old. I love to backpack in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, golf, swim, mountain bike, snowboard and support my children in their various activities. I like to garden and make our home a place where my kids can enjoy life and build relationships with others.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was a young boy. As I grew up in the church I attended early morning seminary every weekday throughout the school year with a handful of other high school Mormon kids. I leraned a lot about my Savior, Jesus Christ and His personal interest in me as I studied the scriptures. This knowledge set the foundation for how I wanted to live my life and build relationships with others. I ended up serving a mission for the church for 2 years and later married my sweet wife in the Temple of the Lord. I continue to follow the teachings of this church and serve faithfully because I believe it is helping me to become who a loving Father in Heaven wants me to become and makes me feel satisfied with who I am.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by first being a good husband to my wife and father to my children. I take time to be a part of their life and teach gospel principles as we go about our day. I am honest and hard working at work so I can support my family and be an influence for the good at work. I volunteer in my community to help improve the environment that my children are growing up in. I try to be a good neighbor and help out when opportunities arise to serve those around me. At church I speak in various wards, or congregations, on topics assigned by my leaders. I lead the stake audits which are performed twice a year to make sure all church funds are dealt with in a sacred manner to fulfill the Lord's work. I also support the Stake Primary to make sure the children are coming to know they are loved by a Father in Heaven. I also work with several members to try and have an emergency preparedness plan for our area so we can respond to needs as they arise.
