Hi I'm Jenelle.

I grew up in California. I'm a former Army National Guard Medic. I'm a single mom to 2 amazing boys. I'm a convert. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single stay-at-home mom to a 3 1/2 year old and a 2 year old. Being "single" and "stay-at-home" is hard and has many challenges, but I make it work because I feel it's important for my boys. I have just enrolled in massage therapy school, it's something I've wanted to do for years and the pathways are finally opening up. I love photography and learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because when the truth is placed right in front of you, it is hard to deny it. I know the Church is true, I know that there is a Prophet that lives on earth who guides us and helps us. I know that Joseph Smith restored the church and the priesthood. I know the Book of Mormon is true, that it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know these things because I prayed about them and asked our Heavenly Father to give me an answer and I felt the Holy Spirit testify to their truth. I love knowing where I came from, what my purpose here on Earth is and what my hope for the future can be. I love knowing that I am a beloved daughter of our Heavenly Father. I love knowing that my family can be forever, not just for this time here on Earth. The Church has given me strength, courage and knowledge to get through trials in my life. The decision to get baptized was the best decision I ever made. My knowledge of my purpose here in this life has made me better mother, friend and woman.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a positive example and a shining light to those who know me. I go to church every Sunday and I help the missionaries teach new people about the church. I study the scriptures and we pray as a family everyday. My faith is a part of my every day life, it's who I am. I am trying to live my life in a way as to be a beautiful reflection of Christ and our Heavenly Father.
