Hi I'm Dan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently work in the banking industry. I've done so for the last 5 years. I served a church mission in Peru, which was a wonderful experience for me. When I got home off of my mission I went to Weber State University and graduated with a degree in Commercial Spanish and a Minor in Communications. I love playing sports. I grew up playing baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and golf. I really excelled in soccer and played some high school, competitive and college. I still enjoy playing multiple sports on recreational teams. I enjoy doing a lot of different things. I enjoy the outdoors, fishing, camping, and hiking. I love cars, I enjoy driving them, looking at them and thinking which one I would love to own, when I make it big. I also just enjoy a night in watching a movie with my beautiful wife. I recently got remarried after my first marriage ended in divorce. I love my wife and she has been very wonderful to me. We have many things in common and we do most of them together.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have a testimony of the restored gospel. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I have a testimony of his life and mission here on this earth. I know that he is the redeemer of the world, that he gave his life that we might be able to return to our Heavenly Father presence after we pass away. I've read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and know that both of them are true. They both talk about the Saviors life and mission. They also talk about the Plan of Salvation. I know that I'm a child of God and that we all are his children. I know that he loves all of us and wishes the best for us. I know that we are given challenges that we might be able to grow and gain a better understanding from them. I've prayed about the restoration of the church and the gospel. I've received answers from those prayers that lets me know that these things are true. I'm grateful that we have living prophets on the earth today to lead us and guide us. I've received a lot of blessings in my life by living the principals of the gospel and I've avoided a lot of heartache as well by doing so. I love my family and know that through the ordinances provided in the Holy Temples that I will be able to be with them passed the (till death do us part phase) that I will be able to be an eternal family. Knowing these things is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by going to church every week and by praying daily by myself and with my wife. I try to read my Scriptures daily, and I actively participate in the church callings that have been asked of me. I give my time by helping out whenever I'm asked to do so. By visiting church members and seeing if their is any service they made be in need of. Also, by helping out the Missionaries teach new people. I've helped with the youth before by teaching them every Sunday in class and by coaching their youth basketball teams. I've also helped out with their Scouting activities. I also try to live my faith by living its teachings daily and just being an example in the things I do and say.
