Hi I'm Cecelia

I am NZ Maori by descent. Born and raised in Australia and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a stay at home mum with my 3 children while they have been young. It has been both challenging and rewarding. My husband suffers deeply with mental illness and this has brought great challenges to our lives as a family at large. I love music, with the help of family members I have learnt to play the guitar. Its great, I love to sing. It has brought such great satisfaction to my life.

Why I am a Mormon

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ I have gained an inner strength that has carried me across the threshold of watching a loved one suffer with a debilitating condition. I have learnt thru our Saviours own life that to love unconditionally will bring you the love that you desire from your loved ones. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, I live His principles because they bring me peace they bring me great joy and that peace and joy are not mine alone, they transfer to my children, to my husband and to all those i come in contact with. I love it, its awesome.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being me...I am a happy person that loves get togethers with friends and family, get togethers with lots of food and music...I live my faith by being involved with my kids at school, in the community, at the beach, at church. I live my faith by offering a smile to someone that looks like they need a ray of sunshine, by carrying my neighbours groceries home for her when we both hop off the bus together. I live my faith when I hear a friend is in need and I live my faith when I am in need and my friends come to help me. I am grateful for every moment in my life and I live my faith to show that gratitude to my Heavenly Father who has given me this life : )
