Hi I'm Kinsie

I grew up in Arizona. I want to be a Realtor. I love Roller Coasters. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Mesa Arizona. I love roller Coaster, theme parks, Xxtra Flamin' hot Cheetos. I would love to be a Realtor. I love the idea of buying and selling. I attended a 2 year college where I got my associates degree and then headed up to BYU-Idaho for one semester where I studied business management with a minor in accounting.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that centered their life on the gospel and has been strong their whole life. I love being a member of the church. Its fun to go to activities and sacrament meeting and firesides and meet new people and have fun while still learning about the church and its importance. Within the past year or so I am developed a strong testimony of prayer (along with other things,) but the power of prayer has helped me so much as I have made decisions of what to do, where to go, and how to get things done. I know that God does answer our prayers, just as he answered a 14 year old boy's prayer, Joseph Smith, when he prayed to know which church to join! I am now getting ready to serve a mission in Santa Rosa California and am so excited to be a missionary.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in the Santa Rosa, California mission. Choosing to serve a mission was one of the best decisions I have made. Before coming out on a mission I was nervous. I didn't know if I could do it. I didn't know if I'd last. But through prayer, fasting, and striving to be obedient, the Lord has blessed me immensely and I have been able to continue serving as a missionary. Being a missionary has helped me strengthen my own testimony and faith and it teaches me how to live the gospel. To live the gospel to me, is striving to be as our Savior would be. To serve as our Savior would serve. And to act as our Savior would act. This isn't easy, but I have learned that through scripture study I can learn how to apply the principles taught by our Savior.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Families are meant to last forever! As we develop relationships with our family members, along with our brother Jesus Christ, our testimony can grow and we can become more like our Father in Heaven. At the end of "The Family: A Procolamation to the World" it says, "We warn that indiviudals who....fail to fufil family responsibilities will one day stand accountable before God." I really do believe that each of us have a role in our families that no one else can fufill. Each member in our family plays a special role and through prayer we can figure out how we can help and be an example to strengthen our families! Show more Show less
