Hi I'm Neva

I'm a Mormon. I grew up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I am retired from working in an elementary school district in AZ.

About Me

I have worked for Internal Revenue as an auditor, was a substitute teacher while my children were in school and worked at an elementary school district. The best job I have ever had is being a grandmother and I love it! I like to scrapbook and making cards. I also love to cook and help people.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Mormon church when I was 23. I met a wonderful man at work and started going to church with him. I knew the things I heard at church were true. Family was held in high esteem and the values taught were ones that I believed were important for happiness. One of the greatest values I learned was giving service to those in need. At church I felt like part of a large family that care about each other and help each other. I joined the church and then married the man that introduced me to the church.

How I live my faith

By being an active member of the church I have had many opportunities to serve people. I love to cook and enjoy taking meals to people that are sick or having difficult times. I have learned many skills for being a better wife, mother and grandmother through our woman's organization. In our church you are visited monthly by your peers to be reminded that you are loved and that there are people willing to listen to you about your problems and to try to help you by lightening your burdens.
