Hi I'm Josh

I'm a golfer, a medical physicist and a Cubs fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father with four children. I grew up in San Diego, then went to Brigham Young University for college, and served a mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I then attended graduate school at the University of Chicago, where I studied Medical Physics. I did post graduate training in Omaha, Nebraska and Dallas, Texas before moving to Arizona. I enjoy playing baseball, basketball, soccer and football with my sons. On my own I play golf and ride my bike for exercise.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ makes me and my family happy. It teaches me how to be the best husband, father and person that I can be. Knowing that I am a child of my Heavenly Father, and that He has a purpose for me, helps me make important decisions in my life. The knowledge that I can be with my family for eternity makes me realize how important my relationships with them are, and want to cultivate relationships that I will want to last forever. The Book of Mormon teaches me about the plan God has for his children, and is a constant reminder of what God wants me to do. It is a reminder that that there is absolute right and wrong, and that I can ask God what are the right decisions for me to make in my life, and that he will answer me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example of a disciple of Jesus Christ. For me that starts with how I treat my wife and children. I strive to be kind and gentle, and to put their needs before my own.
