Hi I'm Tricia

I'm twenty one years old. I'm a Registered Nurse. I'm happily married. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a latter day saint woman who loves life!!! I am SO blessed to be where I am today. Heavenly Father has truly been with me every step of the way. I know He loves me and has given me all the blessings that I have today. I recently graduated from nursing school and have a wonderful job that is amazing and satisfying. I am married to a WONDERFUL man and we will be together for time and all eternity because we were sealed in the temple and made sacred covenants with each other and Heavenly Father. What a blessing it is to have such a wonderful temple that I can go to whenever I want and be reminded of the true purpose of earth life. I love my family and spent time with them camping, going to the lake, and going to the sand dunes. My husband and I love to play volleyball and go fishing. We have so much fun together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and have many wonderful memories of going to church and having family home evening. My parents did a wonderful job of raising me (if I so say so myself :). Following the church standards was never that hard for me because of the principles that I learned and gained testimony of at a young age. I knew that I wanted to get married in the temple, and that dream came true a little over a year ago. My husband and I love going to church together, having family prayer, and family home evening. I am so grateful for loving, faithful parents that molded who I am today.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I teach the 3 year old sunbeams in primary. They are such a sweet group and it is exciting to see the growth in their knowledge and confidence. I love going to church and renewing my covenants that I made at baptism. I strive each week to make a resolve to do better the next week and be more selfless. I am also a visiting teacher and enjoy visiting my sweet friends. One less active sister is hard to get in touch with, so I go to her work and try to brighten her day with a plate of cookies or some fruit. I love to serve others and jump at the opportunity to babysit or cook for someone, two of my favorite things.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Tricia
I have personally done this many times. After i finish the Book of Mormon each time, I pray to Heavenly Father to know that it is true. I immediately feel the spirit envelop me and my emotions are strong. This is the spirit answering my prayer and confirming to me that what I read is true. I know that as we truly ask, we shall receive. Heavenly Father wants all His children to have the truth, because He loves us and knows us by name. This I know to be true with all my heart. I am so grateful for prayer. I know that I can talk to my Heavenly Father whenever I want and He truly will listen. I know He watches over me and keeps me safe. i love being a member of this church!
