Hi I'm Curtis

I grew up in Arizona. I have 9 brothers and sisters. I work in construction. I am married and have 9 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a son, a brother (9 siblings), a husband, a father (9 children), a grandfather (2) and I work in construction. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been in the Church since it was established - on my mothers side. On my Fathers side, for many generations, if not from the establishment of the Church. I am still a member of the Church because I have read the Scriptures - Book of Mormon and the Bible - and have prayed about them and know that they are the word of God. I have very special memories growing up in the church with the children's program (called Primary), Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts (The Church is an active sponsor of Scouting) and other youth programs as a teenager.

How I live my faith

I am active in our local Church Congregation. I serve the families in our area by reaching out to them and helping them with anything they may need; including but not limited to: helping families move in or out of our City, giving short lessons (as a hometeacher), to families, helping men to learn more of the Savior and grow closer to Him that their family can grow closer to Jesus Christ. I love the fact that I can be together with my family FOREVER. This is the greatest blessing of the Gospel. I love the fact that as family members that I have known and loved (grandparents, great aunts and uncles, etc.) that I will know them and recognize them and have the same familial relationship with them as I do here. We will know each other. It is important to me to teach my children to know and understand the Holy Ghost and let it teach them important truths so that when they are older and responsible for their choices as teenagers and adults that they will be able to follow the guidance and counsel of that same Holy Ghost. Feeling the Spirit is very important to me and I want my family to have that same urgency to know and understand it.
