Hi I'm Tammy

I am an AZ Native. I am a Domestic Diva (stay-at-home Mom). I have a close family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to do paper crafting. :) I have been a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and loved it. I like to scrapbook, but I would rather make cards and 3D items (photobooks for friends and loved ones). I enjoy all types of music. I play the piano and I love to sing. I have gone to business college for Business Administration and enjoyed being full-time employed as a Office Manager for a budding Roofing Business. I enjoyed that field of work immensely. Right now I am a stay at home mom and LOVE IT! Nothing is better than being able to spend quality time with my children - especially since we use an online Charter school to teach them, I get more time with them!

Why I am a Mormon

My mom and her Mom both joined the Church when my Mom was 16ish. My father joined the Church right before he and my mother were married and he went off to Vietnam in the Navy. I think because they are converts to the Church and because my fathers family is not interested in becoming members of the Church my sisters and I were fortunate to see other religions in action. There is a lot of wonderful things in all religions and I feel blessed to be a part of the LDS Church. I was luck enough to serve a mission in the Indiana area and I loved it. I loved teaching the Gospel and talking to people about their beliefs. It strengthened my testimony so much by immersing myself in the Scriptures and the Gospel. I believe that the single most important reason why I am a member of the Church is because we believe that Families Can Be Together Forever. This is important to me because I love my family and I want to be with them FOREVER!!! :)

How I live my faith

Before we chose to use an online curriculum to teach our children (K12), I served on the PTO of our local elementary school. I enjoyed being involved with my children's school and advocating for them. Right now I am serving as the Secretary in our Children's Group at Church (Primary). I love serving the young children in our area and seeing the children grow and learn in the things that they are being taught. I am also a Visiting Teacher. Visiting Teaching is a wonderful program that allows women to visit each other and share a message. We go out with 'partners' and my partner and I have been friends since we were in 7th grade. :) It is fun being able to go with her and make new friends with the different ladies that we get to visit. Right now we only have 2, but there have been times that we have had 4. It is a really great program.
