Hi I'm Rhonda

I'm a Mormon. I have been all of my life and would have it no other way!

About Me

I'm a Mom to 4 boys and 1 daughter adopted from China. I love spending time with my family. My husband and I enjoy the beautiful outdoors jogging and biking the trails most mornings in the open space around our home. During the school year I substitute teach grades K-5 in our school district.

Why I am a Mormon

I will be forever grateful to the missionaries who knocked on my Grandmother's door and for the members who fellowshipped my mother and brought her into activity in the church. My testimony definitely has "highs and lows," however, I have always strived to live so that the Spirit can be a guiding light in my life. Since childhood I recognized the blessings of living a righteous life and set my goals accordingly. I'm a Mormon because I desire to have the happiness in this life that our Heavenly Father wants for us. I know that by following his plan I can make and keep those covenants that will bring me back into His presence. I have received countless witnesses and answered prayers throughout my life that continue to strengthen my testimony. I know of no other way of achieving total peace and happiness other than following the plan of our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve as the Scout Committee Chairperson for the Scouts in our ward. I enjoy working with youth and have been privlileged to serve in the past with the children ranging from 18months-12 years. I have noticed that I am most happy when I'm able to help and serve others. Giving of my time and talents helps me gain compassion and love for my fellow man. I try to live each day with a grateful heart and willingness to help others in need.
