Hi I'm Brian

I am the father of four, a businessman, scoutmaster, community volunteer, love the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of four children, two boys and two girls. I am a husband of 25 years to my beautifully blond wife. I enjoy nearly all outdoor activities and am a leader in our community Boy Scout Troop. I work as a regional HR Manager of a large medical device manufacturer. I enjoy cooking for others and own a small restaurant/soda fountain in Central Nebraska with my wife. I love good food, clean humor and memorable times with friends and family and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Although my parents and family were Mormon, I have spent my lifetime studying and praying to know the teachings of Christ and to know for myself if this is His church. I have found that the principles and doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the Mormons) directly align with Christ's teachings. I believe in a loving Heavenly Father that cares for his children on the earth. I have found peace, happiness, meaning and direction in my life through this knowledge. I believe that God talks to us through personal revelation and continues to communicate to mankind through his authorized servants.

How I live my faith

My faith is not what I do, but who I am. I believe that as I pattern my life after the example of our Savior, we become his disciples and I begin to become like him. When I do this, my life takes on meaning and purpose, I have greater peace and joy in my life and I experience the greatest alignment and positive structure in my life and the life of my family. I would hope that anyone who is acquainted with me would see (although in a small part) a glimmer of Christ and his teachings. I love life, love my family, love my friends and am always looking to make more friends. The gospel is best way I have found to do this.
