Hi I'm Jeff Richardson

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a son, a husband, and a father. I married the love of my life on June 4th, 1994 in the Portland Oregon Temple. I have four kids, 3 girls and a boy. My kids are ages 16, 13, 9, and 7. Their names are Abby, Katie, Maddy, and Grant respectively. I have a great love of computers and all things technology. I love playing board games and taking vacations to the beach with my family. I occasionally can be found playing video games with my son. I also love riding my bicycle. I ride about once a week on average and really enjoy doing it. My wife and family occompany me sometimes on these rides and it makes it even more fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I watched my parents raise six children in this wonderful church. I served a mission for the church back in 1990-92. I consider this one of my crowning acheivements of my life. It was while I served my mission that I decided that my love for the Savior was greater than anything else in this life and that I would never allow anyone or anything to change this. I love how the gospel changes lives for the better. I love how the gospel brings families together and makes them stronger. I am confident that the fullness of the gospel is contained and held by the priesthood of the Church, and that this allows us to make and keep sacred convenants with our father in heaven.

How I live my faith

I have always liked serving others. I learned this by watching my mother and father and participating in many activites and service projects over the years. I enjoy greatly the feelings that living something to its fullest brings. I have always tried to serve members of my family first and foremost. They bring me the most joy and love in this life. I teach my children the same things I have been taught at church. I currently serve as a Bishop of a ward (congregation) in Tacoma Washington. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for any member of my ward. I love the feeling I get when I serve my savior and the members of our ward. I have always enjoyed serving others and find that I can do more and be more successful in life the more I serve and put God first in my life. I try to live what I preach.
