Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a physician. I'm a family man. I'm an outdoorsman. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent the last 20 years delivering babies and I still marvel at the miracle of it all. Aside from work, I have a wonderful family and we love to have fun together. 26 years of marriage and five children make for a busy and entertaining life. I love the outdoors and like to spend time in the mountains hiking, biking, camping, boating, and riding motorcycles. The center of my life is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I strive to develop more Christ like attributes in my personal life by keeping the the Savior and His teaching as my primary focus.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and I was raised in the Church. When I was young I trusted in my parents and tried to live the teachings of the Savior as I was taught in my home. When I grew into adulthood I recognized the peace, stability, and happiness that came from aligning my life with eternal principles. I served a full time mission for my Church and I witnessed the change that took place in peoples lives as they joined the Church and learned to follow the teachings of the living prophets. The Church has helped me to stretch and to become someone that is better than I would be otherwise. I understand my life from an eternal perspective and I feel a spiritual confirmation that this is the Lord's Church. It has been wonderful to see that same faith grow in my children's lives as they mature in the gospel and reach out and serve others. My daughter recently wrote to me that she is "ridiculously happy", and that is exactly how I feel!

How I live my faith

Everyone in the Church has the opportunity to serve and to grow. I am currently responsible for the leadership training and oversight of nine congregations in the city where I live. I spend a great deal of time visiting with individuals and helping them to overcome their personal challenges.
