Hi I'm Trellany Udall

I love life, I love to travel, serve others, photography, and I like to play sports all the time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well I am currently a college student in Arizona, but I did attend BYU-Hawaii last semester for fun and had the time of my LIFE! This whole year in general has been an awesome one. When I returned from Hawaii in April, I had a month to catch up with everyone and then I went to Ecuador to volunteer in the orphanages through a organization called OSSO. It was such a life changing experience and really humbled me. I was home for 3 days then headed to be an EFY counselor for 3 weeks! If you don't know what EFY is, it is a LDS church camp for youth 14-18. As a counselor I had new participants each week and created an environment where the youth could feel the spirit while having fun. It was such a great experience to see the kids come unto Christ and gain a stronger testimony of the gospel. After that I spent 3 weeks in California because I am such a beach bum! It was a fantastic summer! What I like to do in my free time is play volleyball, (I played in High school). I also LOVE wake boarding, snowboarding, playing racquetball, bowling, and pretty much every sport possible. I love to take pictures and make videos and hang out with friends and family. I also love planning and coordinating parties/activities and hope to make that my career.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to become a part of this faith for many reasons. One is that there is no greater feeling that I feel when I am at church or the temple. They both just make me so happy and positive. I love the standards that the church has set for us to follow. By nature I am a rule follower, so it has never been very hard for me to keep the commandments and standards that we live by. I see the good in all of them and how they are for our benefit to protect us, and to make us happy. I have never seen them as restrictions! There has been so many miracles and answered prayers in my life that have confirmed to me that God lives and does love me and every one of his children. When I was in Ecuador this past summer, I had a hard time at first seeing these children in such bad conditions that it left me questioning, why would God want any of his children to live/suffer like this? After working with the children for a couple days I totally saw the light of Christ in these kids and how much he truly did love them, and that he sent them to earth to be tried and tested in a different way and that they are making the best of it. The kids were always so happy to see us and I know God puts certain people in our life to help one another. Those kids needed us volunteers as much as we needed them. This was such a great testimony builder to me to see that God does live and cares for each and every one of us and doesn't give us trials that we can not overcome. I know Joseph Smith is a true prophet and that he would of not gone through all that pain and suffering if the gospel was not true. I love the Book of Mormon and the messages and principles it teaches us. I know that our current prophet and prophets in the past are prophets of God and that they reveal what the Lord wants us to hear. I love this gospel so much and the peace and comfort it brings to my life. I know everything will work out in the end and that Gods plan is perfect for all of us and we can all live together forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by first attending church every week and partaking of the sacrament to renew my covenants with my Heavenly Father that I made with him at baptism. Second, I try to attend the temple every week to perform ordinances. Third, I serve my ward by being in the Family Home Evening Committee which plans and organizes FHE for the singles ward. Fourth, I volunteer in the community, whether it be making blankets, donating blood, canning food, helping someone move, being a friend to someone who is in need, and etc. Fifth, I do not partake in any unclean activities or put myself in situations that have things going against my standards. Sixth, I pay 10% of my earnings to the church to show my faith in the Lord that by giving him a small portion of what he has given me, that I will be blessed way beyond than if I were to keep that 10%. I read my scriptures everyday to further increase my knowledge of the gospel. I pray everyday thanking him for what he has given me and asking for any help or blessings me or loved ones might need. I try to have happy clean thoughts all the time and to find the good in everyone because I know deep down everyone has something to offer. Overall I just try to be a good person by being a friend to those who need one, and offering my services to anyone in need.
