Hi I'm Elder Ty Masco

I live on a farm near Milford Nebraska. I run Cross- Country. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live on a farm near Milford Nebraska with my family. I enjoy riding my horses, training my horses, working with my cattle dogs and roping cattle with a 60 foot long rope. We all enjoy working together to get things done on the place which includes building and repairing fences, planting a garden, and caring for a small group of horses. I believe that when we work together as a family, we can grow closer to the Lord by being around all of his creations. I am also a runner, I run cross-country in the fall and track in the spring for my school. There have been times during the long races that I have found it hard to keep going, but I have learned that when I think of an uplifting and inspirational song it helps me to keep going to cross the finish line. Because I train hard and live righteous standards, the Lord blesses me and my family in so many ways. I love running because it gives me a sense of accomplishment and determination to stay strong in keeping the commandments of God.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church my whole life. I have always enjoyed going to church and learning about the Savior. I know that there is a Christ because he has helped me to accomplish so much in my life. I am grateful that I am able to gain an education. I am also very grateful for the opportunity that I have to live as Jesus would want me to live. I know this church is true because I have felt the Holy Spirit affirm that fact. I am very grateful to have a family on earth who loves me. I know that we have a modern day prophet who leads this church. I enjoy going to church weekly and serving the Lord and others on a daily basis.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve as a missionary in the Brazil Sao Paulo East Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As I prepare to serve, I will focus on learning the language and strengthening my testimony in Jesus Christ and the Restoration of the gospel in these latter days. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and I know that he loves everyone living on Earth. I know that being a missionary presents many difficulties and challenges, but I know that the Lord will bless me tremendously if I serve with all my might. By serving faithfully, I can help people accept the gospel and receive many blessings through membership in the church. Having read the Book of Mormon multiple times and receiving many spiritual confirmations, I know that this gospel is true. I have faith in and a testimony of our Heavenly Father and in His son Jesus Christ. I know that God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith in the sacred grove and that priesthood keys were again restored to the Earth during the Restoration of the gospel. I know that these keys are essential for allowing sacred binding ordinances to take place which bless all of God's children. I know that I can bring much happiness to people as I share these and many other truths of the gospel. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that Heavenly Father wishes to bless all of his children with the knowledge of restored truths. I know that this is absolutely the only true church upon the face of the Earth. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
