Hi I'm Michelle

I grew up in SLC, Utah. I have been married for 14 years. I currently live in Colorado. I am a Registered Nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to a wonderful man for 14 years and together we have 4 kids. I am a Registered Nurse, but I have been a stay at home mom for the past 9 years. I love being home with my children! I love to read, cook, and shop! I enjoy exercising regularly (I can't say I love it), but I always feel so much better when I am exercising regularly. I ran a 1/2 marathon last year with a group of girlfriends and it was a hard, but fun experience! I love helping others and that is why I chose a career in nursing. I love to travel and to spend time with my husband and kids. As a family we love to play games, play the Wii, go on bike rides, go camping, or just hang out together. Although I love my children a lot, I look forward to a weekly date night with my husband so that we can reconnect after a usually long and crazy week!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a Mormon family. I gained my testimony a little bit at a time over the course of my childhood years. I remember very distinct times after I was baptized (at the age of 8) when I felt the Holy Ghost in my life. With the guidance and influence of the Holy Ghost in my life I have been protected, blessed, comforted, and given insights and knowledge of gospel truths. As I pray to my Father in Heaven about gospel truths or questions I have, I feel the Holy Ghost warm me and bring answers to my heart. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good example in all that I do. I attend church regularly each Sunday. I am currently serving as a leader to the children in the church. I help to oversee children's Sunday classes, weekly cub scout activities and meetings, and biweekly 8-11 year old girls activities. I love serving the children and I hope that I can help them to increase their faith and testimonies each week. I have also worked as a leader among the women in the church as well as the youth. I love being a Mormon because I get to develop talents in all different areas of my life and I get to work with great people in the church!
