Hi I'm Mark

I live in south-eastern Washington, I work on a ranch, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in south eastern Washington my whole life. I grew up in Kennewick with my brother and four sisters. I met my wife around 2 and a half years ago and we have been married for a year and a half now. We don't have any children yet but are hoping to be blessed with one soon. I have worked at a variety of jobs from delivery driver to correctional officer to my current job which is working for my father-in-law on his ranch. I am a huge fan of podcasts. I listen to about 15 different podcasts regularly that cover alot of topics that include politics, current events, football, nascar, archaeology, and religion. I really like music and love a good rock song.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because as I have read the scriptures and attended church I have felt the Spirit witness to me that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I believe that what the church teaches regarding families and the Plan of Salvation is true. I believe that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that along with the Bible we can know and understand the fulness of the gospel. I am a Mormon because the teachings of the LDS Church have helped me find happiness in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a better person every day. We all make mistakes and because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can repent - we can change our ways and strive anew to be more like our Savior. I attend church each week and along with other members learn more about the principles of the gospel and how to implement them into my life. My wife and I try to study the scriptures and pray together and see a huge difference in the attitude of our home when we do so.
