Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in Oregon. I'm a representative for Jesus Christ in Arizona and a Barbershop Harmony enthusiast...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a missionary for the church and i love it. Besides sharing the gospel with others, i like to sing, cook, eat, and do any type of sports or activities outside outside. Oh, and i love riding my bike in the Arizona sun, especially when it gets over 110 degrees. There's nothing better. There are 7 kids in my family. 5 boys and 2 girls. I have 2 wonderful parents that taught me in my youth to work hard, serve others, and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of this church because I have received a witness that this is Christ's church, established on the Earth today. The teachings of the church have helped me to learn who Jesus Christ is, and how I can follow Him. I grew up in the church and was taught at a young age to believe in Christ. However, it wasn't until later in my life that I really sought out on my own to gain a knowledge that this is in fact the church of Jesus Christ, restored to the Earth. As my testimony continues to grow, it brings great joy into my life. I know that Jesus is my Savior and only through Him can I return to live with God. I know that He is the Son of God. I know we have a Father in Heaven who watches over us and wants us to be happy. As I go forward with faith, my testimony continues to grow. Its never been easy to be a follower of Christ, but it is definitely worth it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to talk to everyone. I share with others my testimony and invite them to learn more about this great blessing in my life. Everyone is going through some type of struggle in their life. We all need a friend and someone to talk to who can offer guidance and support. I live my faith through serving others. I have learned from the scriptures that when we serve others, we are serving God. My father and mother taught me to serve as I was growing up. I remember participating in large service projects, ranging from planting trees in a park to gathering clothes for the Salvation Army. Every time I serve others, I am always happy and I can feel the love and satisfaction from my Heavenly Father, knowing that I'm doing what He wants me to do. As a baptized and confirmed member of Christ's church, I have received a great gift from my Father in Heaven. It is called the Gift of the Holy Ghost. As long as I am worthy, I can have the guidance of the Holy Ghost with me always. I try to keep my thoughts, words, and actions in harmony with the gospel, so that I'm always worthy to have the Spirit with me.
