Hi I'm Laurie

I grew up in Utah. I am a wife & a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am fortunate to be able to stay at home and be a mom. I have 4 beautiful children and a wonderful husband who I love very much. They keep me busy running to and from practices and games during the week. During our spare time, as a family, we enjoy camping, and four-wheeling in the mountains. When I have a few spare minutes I love to scrapbook all the many adventures of our everyday lives. I also like to try my hand at different crafts, canning fruit and baking.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, so the gospel has always been a part of my life. I came from an amazing family, who have always been supportive and have taught me how important the gospel is in our lives. As I have started my own family I realize how important families are. I know that as long as I strive to do my very best in living the gospel my family will be together forever. I love my family very much, they are so important to me. ... Through everyday life, we all face different challenges and trials. During these trials that have happened in my life I am grateful that I am a member of the church. It brings much needed peace and comfort to me. I can't imagine what my life would be like without the gospel because I rely on it to give me the much needed strength to get me through the challenges of everyday life and also the big trials we all will face. I have a constant companion in the Holy Ghost that helps me to find peace and hope as I endure through lives obstacles.

How I live my faith

I try and live my life in accordance with the teaching of the gospel. With all of the different activities that we are participating in our family has a weekly family night where we take time spend together. We are striving as a family to read our scriptures daily and have daily family prayer.
