Hi I'm Scott

Crazy as it may seem... I'm a Mormon - And Blessed because of it!

About Me

I’m, married to a wonderful wife for 28 years! We have two great kids – A daughter who is married to a super guy and they have two sons together (Awesome grandsons!!!) And we have stand up son who is a fantastic all around person who is working and searching for his “one”. I’ve been a peddler most my adult life ranging from Capital medical equipment to the pursuit of dreams! I’ve spent the last 30 years here in beautiful Colorado loving the outdoors, bow hunting, fishing, hiking, camping along with sports of all kinds.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been born and raised in the church, then away from the church for an extended period of time, and now back, has given me a totally new perspective on life. To me, there’s no better feeling in the world than to know that I’m where I’m supposed to be, doing the things that really matter most. A great man once said “I guess the good Lord has whooped me long enough, because I’ve finally found my way back to be in His service again”. And oh how wonderful it is! I’ve enjoyed countless blessings and miracles since renewing my covenants with the Lord, and I pray daily that I might, in some small way, be able to help others enjoy these same blessings.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as ward executive secretary and love getting to know the members more on a weekly basis and being of service to them. I try and set an example by living a life free from the things that seem to only bring hardships and heartache. Constant communication with God is definitely a big help. It's also a big plus to know that God loves his children enough to give us a living Prophet to help guide us with our daily lives. Scripture alone is terrific, but sometimes something a little more personal really helps! I love helping others whenever I can because hey, who knows when the tides will turn! I love the Gospel and know we all have a specific purpose within it!
