Hi I'm Brandon

I am from Idaho. I lived for a short while in Alaska and developed a love for hiking, fishing, and the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was fortunate enough to have been born and raised in the church. When I was 5 years old I had strep throat and got really sick. I had to go to the hospital and the doctor told me that the infection spread to my pancreas and destroyed my insulin cells, which resulted in me being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I remember the doctor telling me that the chances of that happening were 1 in a million. But I am so very grateful for it. Throughout my life I have had to deal with diabetes, and I feel that it has made me a much more patient and thankful person. I have come to realize why our loving Heavenly Father gives us trials. Through our trials we learn humility. They direct us back to Christ. Who's atonement gives us peace and comfort, and they strengthen us and help us to push ourselves beyond what we thought possible. I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ, He has given me strength to overcome the most difficult of trials, and I know that through Him, all things are possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because because the gospel of Jesus Christ gives me answers to the questions of my soul. Because of God's plan of salvation which hasbeen restored in it's fulness again to the Earth, I now know where I came from, why I am here, and where I will be going. The gospel allows me to see a wider perspective not just on life, but for eternity. To look beyond this life, and to see that the choices that I make now, will not only have consequences tomorrow, next week, or even next year, but will allow me to experience greater joy and happiness forever, so long as I am doing all that I can to follow in Christ's footsteps, and live His gospel today. Christ is at the center of our Heavenly Father's wonderful plan, and His atonement gives me hope and peace amidst a world of turmoil and confusion. I know Christ lives, and loves us all!

How I live my faith

I am now serving in Arizona as a missionary of the church. It is such a great opportunity to be able to share this wonderful news of the gospel to the people of Arizona who I have come to love and appreciate. It is a wonderful blessing to be able to see people's lives change as their faith in Christ grows and they make changes to bring their lives in closer harmony with the teachings of Jesus Christ. I love my Savior and I know that He loves me, and that He gave His life for all of us. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the way to happiness and I know now, more than ever, that there is no other way nor name whereby we can be saved, only in and through the gospel can we find eternal joy.
