Hi I'm Tayler

My name is Tayler! I'm from Denver, Colorado and I am currently serving a full time mission in the beautiful state of Virgina

About Me

A few months ago I finished my first year at BYU-Idaho working to finish all the prerequisites for nursing school. My dream is to ultimately teach first time moms in low income families how to take care of their babies. I want to help create a better life for both the child and their mother. Today, I am serving a full time mission in the beautiful state of Virginia. I absolutely love it! Being a missionary is both the most difficult and the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I have found that there is nothing that can help families more than a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and an understanding of his teachings.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read and come to love the Book of Mormon. I have devoted countless hours to studying it and living the principles taught within it. I have prayed to know for myself if it is true and I know I have received an answer. I know it is true because I have developed a very strong relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. I feel like I know him personally. I am a Mormon because I love the Plan of Salvation. It is such a comfort to know that I can have my family forever! I am a Mormon because I love the relationship I have with my Father in Heaven. I know he is a loving, merciful Father who cares about all of his children and wants them to come back to him. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior and I am grateful for all he has done for me. He is my Rock.

How I live my faith

Being a missionary in Washington D.C. has changed my life. I have met so many wonderful people from all over the world and I love them so much. It's has been an incredible experience to be apart of another person's life and direct them to the Savior. I live my faith today by trusting God and genuinely loving his children. As a missionary I get to work with individuals and families from all walks to life. I have seen lives changed, I have seen faith strengthened, new hope found, and I know it is all apart of Heavenly Father's plan for his children. I wont lie it can be difficult at times, but I know that every bitter moment just makes the good more sweet. I love that every day I can work to be more like Jesus Christ and help others on their journey.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Tayler
As a missionary our whole purpose is to "Invite others to come unto Christ." We teach about Jesus Christ and ways you and your family can grow close to Him. We know that he loves each and everyone of us and wants to help us in our individual lives. We also teach about the plan that Heavenly Father prepared for us which answers questions about where we came from and where we go after we die. We know that families can be together forever and that is something that brings me a lot of peace. Show more Show less
