Hi I'm Stacey

I am a mother of 3 busy young boys. I am a Speech Language Pathologist. I love to create, cook and read. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Denver, Colorado. I have enjoyed singing and dancing my entire life. I performed in high school and in college with performing companies. I was able to tour and see so much of the world during those years. I received my Bachelor's in Speech-Language Pathology at Brigham Young University and continued my Master's Level Education at Utah State University. I have worked in a variety of settings doing speech therapy. I married the man of my dreams and we have 3 boys. They are the light of my life. We have a lot of energy bouncing around our home, and I wouldn't want it any other way. I enjoy teaching and learning from them. We have a gospel-centered home. We love our Savior, and our Heavenly Father. We feel blessed to be a forever family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in a loving Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I believe they want us to be happy. There is a plan for each of us, and if we depend on our Heavenly Father, and let Him in our life, He will guide us in the path that we should follow. I believe in family. I believe families can be together forever because of sacred covenants we make in the temple. I believe we must continually work as a family to lift, encourage and choose the right so we can all be together forever someday. I know that I am a daughter of Heavenly Father and that He loves me. I know my Savior lives, and He atoned for my sins. If I continue to live faithful and endure to the end, I will see Him again.

How I live my faith

We have a gospel-centered home. We read the scriptures and pray as a family every day. We discuss and teach our children gospel principles each day. Simple things, like being kind to others, respect and love one another are examples of these teachings. My husband and I attend the temple each month, where we make and keep sacred covenants (or promises) with our Heavenly Father. I love the temple. I love the Spirit that is in the temple, and the blessings I feel we receive by going to the temple. I enjoy singing with the children each week in church. I teach them new songs, and we play games and learn more about the gospel through songs. It is such a blessing to work with the children each week. Their voices are like those of angels when they sing praises to our Heavenly Father. I love the women in our church. We have a tight-knit group of women that we can lean on, learn from and support throughout our lives. I feel blessed to be in this organization of women. They have been a huge blessingin my life.
