Hi I'm Kendra

I grew up in Germany. I am now living the life I have always wanted as a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy wife and mother of 3 young children. I love to fill my house with laughter and singing. I believe strongly in education and I was even a 'Home School Mom' for a few years. I love reading, learning and teaching. When I have time, I really enjoy digital scrapbooking, photography, cooking, journal writing, shopping, reading, singing, game nights, and any recreational activity that brings my family together.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ is on the earth! I love the knowledge and hope that brings into my life. I have always known that I am a daughter of God. I know that He knows and loves me. Because of my knowledge of that simple truth, I am able to live with confidence and teach my children to have that security as well. My testimony has grown over the years and I have a personal relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. I have learned how to find joy and happiness in the middle of difficult struggles by living the principles of the gospel. Life is not easy, and it is not easy to raise a family right now, but it is worth it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith first and foremost in my home. I study the scriptures and try to learn the words and teachings of Jesus Christ and the prophets. I am constantly trying to improve my understanding of the Lord's words. I work to teach my family about Jesus Christ and how to follow His example. Family relationships are essential to God's plan of happiness for His children. My husband and I work together to create a loving home that fosters both spiritual and temporal growth. We support one another and hold daily family scripture study and family prayers. I have the privilege of working with the primary age children (ages 1 1/2 to 12 years) in our ward. I love teaching children! I love watching them learn that they are sons and daughters of God. I love hearing their honest answers and questions as we discuss following the principles of the gospel. I get to spend time every month visiting with and caring for a few sisters in my ward family. As a family we try to find ways to serve those around us and just love others. I make choices every day to try to bring myself and my family closer to Christ.
