Why I am a Mormon

i grew up in the church and i didnt gain my own full testimony until many years later but i didi pray and i know that the book of mormon is another testament of jesus christ and that through him we can be forgiven of our sins and return to live with God again for all eternity. I know that familys can be eternal through the gospel of Jesus Christ i know that he lives and that he waches the horizonn constantly for his lost sheep to return he is the path back home and i testify of these things that i know they are true and i know this by the power of the Holy Ghost and i bear testimony in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

We believe that we are the literal children of God and that he loves us infinitly. he has a perfected body of flesh and bone whose glory we cannot describe. he is the ruler of the universe and has perfect love for us. we were created in his image (Genesis 1:27). He has two hands with five fingers each we have two hands with five fingers each, he has two eyes and so on. He has infinite mercy and kindness. he has a perfect plan for us to be able to gain joy and live with him eternaly after this life through his son Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
