Hi I'm Jenny

I am a mother of six. I live in Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, a mother of 6 and I am a Mormon. I was raised in the Church and I am the youngest of five kids. I was an athlete growing up and played soccer and ran track. I even had the opportunity to run in college on a track scholarship. I am busy taking care of my large family by cooking, cleaning, driving, tutoring, loving, laughing, and nurturing them. I love to play games, go to the movies, read, spend time out at our pool, go boating and be with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into the Church of goodly parents. I was raised going to church every Sunday and participating in church activities. We held weekly family nights and had family prayer and scripture study. My two brothers and one of my sisters served missions and that was a wonderful example to me of faith, service, sacrifice, and dedication to the Gospel. I gained a testimony of my own during high school while I was attending seminary classes. I have had many prayers answered and have felt the hand of the Lord in my life. I believe in the Book of Mormon and have read it a few times. I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior and atoned for my sins and the sins of the world. I believe that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and his son, Jesus Christ in a grove of trees and that he was a true prophet. I also believe that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet on the Earth today and that he leads and guides the Church under the direction of the Lord. Now that I am an adult and have a family of my own I am teaching my children about Gospel principles and how to gain a testimony of their own.

How I live my faith

I am an active participant in my local ward of the Church. I attend my Sunday meetings and attend the temple regularly. I also serve with the cub scouts on a weekly basis. I go visiting teaching every month to the women I am assigned to, but they are also my friends and I visit them and check in with them regularly to make sure their needs are being met. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I am not ashamed to tell people that "I am a Mormon!"
