Hi I'm Kirsten

I am a stay-at-home mom and I love everything about it; even the crumbs, the mounds of laundry and the runny noses. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the Mother of three beautiful children whom I adore and feel so grateful to have the huge and joyful responsibility of raising. I am the wife of a hard working, intelligent and spiritual man who is the perfect match for me. These two roles bring me more satisfaction and joy that I ever could have imagined. I enjoy reading, organizing, watching movies with my husband and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon in a very loving and fun family. I followed the principles I had been taught through high school. When I got to college, I went through a time where I wasn't so certain of what I believed and wasn't so sure I wanted to follow all I had been taught; so I didn't. I felt a loss of happiness and joy from consequences of my poor choices so I worked my way back to what I had been taught to be true and found out for myself that I knew the gospel to be true. Not long after I found my way back to the gospel and got married my dad passed away very unexpectedly at the young age of 52. Also at this time my mother made some choices that put a lot of strain on our family. Through these trials I gained an even stronger knowledge of the Atonement and of the importance of trials. Trials and hardship are the only things that push us and force us to grow. Without this, we would never even come close to reaching our potential. As we forgive others we can draw more near to the Savior and let ourselves grow instead of staying stunted by negative feelings.

How I live my faith

Even though the juggling act of being a wife, mom and everything else is hilarious and at times impossible, I know my Savior sees my efforts. We cannot be perfect but we can work to be a little better each day. I know that true happiness and joy can be found from living the principles of the gospel and serving one another. I know the Lord wants us to be happy. I know the Lord suffered for my sins and that He knows me. He knows my heart, my worries, my troubles and He will help me with everything in my life, if I bring it to Him through prayer. I know our prayers are answered, no matter how small the matter may seem at times.
