Hi I'm LaRee

Hi! I'm from Arizona, I'm an artist and I'm a Mormon=)

About Me

I love the outdoors. I love to talk walks or go hiking, and I love camping and fishing and just being outside. I also love spending time with my family and friends be it watching movies, playing games or just laughing and having a great time. I have my Associates Degree and am currently an Office Manager for a contracting company. If I had things my way, I would be painting or drawing for a living because that is what I love, but things don't always go my way. And that's okay =) I am a huge fan of reading, it is one of my favorite past times. Re-reading the "Harry Potter" series at the moment. I love all animals and hope to one day have a nice house on a big piece of land where I can have horses and dogs and cows and any other kind of God's creature that finds their way there. I love music! Country being at the top of the list. Life would be far less enjoyable without music.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because I know God and his Son Jesus Christ live and that they love me. Because I have seen and felt their hands and power at work in my life. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life and wouldn't have it any other way. I know that life is hard and that bad things happen to good people everyday, but having the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life has helped me overcome all my trials and challenges. It is through the atonement of Jesus Christ that I have been lifted out of the deepest, blackest pit of despair and brought back in to the light. I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I love his gospel. It truly is good news; it fills my life with joy and happiness every single day that I choose to follow him. I am who and where I am today because of my knowledge of and faith in Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday and by participating in my church activities, such as Family Home Evening and service projects around the community. I am in a leadership position and that allows me to meet and visit with women in my the ward and get to know them and learn what gifts and talents they have been blessed with and how those talents can bless those around them. I am involved in visiting teaching which also allows me to meet with different sisters each month and build friendships and learn of ways that we can help and uplift each other. Every few months it is my honor to teach many of the sisters in the ward about the gospel of Jesus Christ and share my experiences with them and to learn from their experiences as well.
