Hi I'm Bryan

My life is pretty chill; pretty normal. I'm trying to do the best I can. And I'm a mormon.

About Me

I was born in Washington state and grew up in several different places until I ended up in Texas. I enjoy taking time to relax by going off quietly by myself. I love solitude, but understand how important it is to interact with others for my own benefit and for theirs. I feel pretty normal (to say the least) and don't consider myself an extraordinary person or anything. I live my life day-to-day and just roll with the punches. Family is a huge part of my life and a big reason why I keep moving forward. Again, I am not special by any means, but I know that to my Father in Heaven I am as priceless as gold.

Why I am a Mormon

It's fairly easy to say you belong to a church but another story entirely to have faith in that church and follow all of the teachings that are associated with it. I choose to be a member of this church because I know all of God's plan from the teachings of this church. I know exactly where I came from, why I'm here, and where I'll be after this life. I also have the blessed opportunity to be sealed to my family for time and all eternity after this life. This blessing is made available in holy temples. I love the peace and direction that this faith has given me. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ is our example in all things and I try to follow that example at all times. I served a mission for my church for two years in the which I shared Christ's love to everybody that I met. I had the blessed opportunity to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to people who didn't even know they needed Him in their lives. They, like me, were normal people. Once they embraced the Savior and His gospel, their normal lives quietly transformed, like mine has. They learned that they have a Heavenly Father who loves them and a Savior who lived, died, and lives for them again. Now that I'm off of my mission, I still try to be a quiet example to those around me. I'm back into my "normal" life, but I know that no matter how "normal" I may feel, I am very special to my Father in Heaven who loves me. There is a light and love and life out there for everyone that is ready and willing to embrace the Savior and His gospel.
