Hi I'm Sheila

I am a mother of three active boys. I am a wife of 9 yrs. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three boys 8, 6 and 3. My oldest has aspergers. It can be a daily struggle just to get the normal things done like laundry and dishes. But I also get to fit in stuff like occupational therapy and social groups. It can be both hard and rewarding watching my son work so hard and we have come so far, and yet we have a long ways to go. When I am not driving to therapy I enjoy reading Good Books, Hiking, Horse Back Riding, and Hunting with my Husband and boys.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised in the church I spend a few years trying to decide if it was right for me. After my world fell apart I went back to the only thing that made sense, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have a better understanding of the Atonement in my life today then I ever thought possible. I am grateful to have the knowledge that my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ both know and love me.

How I live my faith

I lead he youth in a scouting program. It gives me great joy to spend time with the next generation and help instill in them values to be proud of. I also have a great opportunity to serve in my local community helping with the community gardens and the local fair. I think that the more time spend with our youth the greater the future for all would be so its a pleasure to serve them and find ways to help them learn and grow. Having great leaders for them to look up to is super important. I feel that we need to set the example to the youth so that they have good hero to look up too.
