Hi I'm Diana

I'm a Mormon. I joined the Church in 2002 and it has been the best decision I have ever made!

About Me

I am currently a stay-at-home mother with three children, ages 9, 4 and 2. I am also a full-time student, which makes it interesting to get homework done because I do all of my classes online from home. In my previous life, I worked at a couple of different television stations in Omaha. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2002. It has been the best decision I have ever made. I met my husband in 2006 and we were married in 2008, just a month before he was baptized a member of the Church as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I always knew growing up that there was a God, even though we never attended Church. I know that Heavenly Father knows my name and that He would never give me any more burdens than he knows I can handle. I always look to Him first for answers. Being a mormon, with our clean living and gospel beliefs is what keeps me going some days.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending Church regularly. Of course, with my calling as 2nd Counselor in the Primary Presidency, I have to attend Church. But, I love interacting with all of the children every week. We have a strong Presidency that supports everyone, especially our teachers. I also live my faith by teaching my children the truths about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I wasn't born a member, but it is just as important to me as someone who was. My husband and I are working toward getting our temple recommends so that we can be sealed in the temple with our children and become an eternal family. I was sealed to my parents in 2003 and knowing that I will see my mother again gives me a great sense of calm. I know that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ. I know that there have been prophets put here on this earth to direct and guide us. I know that Joseph Smith was the first prophet of this dispensation and that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet today. These men are worthy priesthood holders who speak the word of God. I want my son to grow up to hold these keys. I want my daughters to grow up to be righteous women who are worthy to be married in the temple. We have been given so many blessings and I want everyone to know where they come from.
