Hi I'm Carol

I grew up in a town in Alberta, Canada. I'm the mom of 4 beautiful children and I have a hard working husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town with 3 other siblings. I followed their footsteps and attended university 12 hours away and in a different country. I received my Bachelor's degree and shortly after got married. My husband went on and got his PhD and is now providing for us so I am able to stay home with the children. It was a struggle at first while he was getting his education but we made it through the tough times to see the rewards at the end. It's not over yet but we are living comfortably and are providing for out family and their future education in hopes that they will be able to provide for themselves. Things I like to do is play volleyball with my friends, sew, and yard work. I really like to see a freshly cut lawn and trimmed bushes. I like to decorate the house and fix things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus is the Savior of this world and that He lives. This gospel teaches of Jesus Christ and his mission on the earth. It teaches about the importance of family and how we can return to heaven as a family. It teaches us how to live our lives so we can return to live with Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father after we die. This gospel helps us live with values and how to be in the world but not live like the world. It gives us a different and eternal perspective and I can be happier knowing that this life is not the end; that I can have eternal joy and peace if I live the way I should.

How I live my faith

In the church I help the boys who are eight in cub scouts learn skills that will help them in life and teaches them how to help other people. I love scouting because it helps the boys become men. We also visit other women in our area to see how they are doing and get to know them better. Sometimes we even become best friends. We let someone know if they need more help than we can provide. I also love to sing in the choir. Sometimes I get to accompany them with my flute and it's so beautiful.
