Hi I'm Annie

I am a mother of five. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am living my dream. I am a mother of five, three boys and two girls. Growing up in a family of six children I always wanted to have a large family of my own. My husband and I started our family shortly after we were married. In the last thirteen years we have been given the greatest gifts of all! I also really enjoy running and exercising. I love to be outdoors doing just about anything. I love sports, and I love watching my kids play sports. My husband is an ER Dr. He is gone a lot! We have really found fun ways to make our time together count.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight, but the truth is I didn't gain my own persal testimony until I was in high school. My parents gave me the freedom to choose and even encouraged me to find the true gospel on my own. I attended other churches, mostly just to see what they were like. I started to read the Book of Mormon and pray a lot. I became very grounded in my standards as a youth. My testimony started to grow. The firmer I stood in my standards the stronger my testimony became. When I met my then soon-to-be husband my prayers became even deeper and more sincere. I found a relationship with God. Since then, I have come to know my Savior better. I have come to rely on the Lord for everything. I feel His prescence with me in my home. I have been desperate for guidance as we raise our family and I am SO thankful that I have been led and guided in my life. I continue to go to church for the spirit that I feel and for the enrichment that it gives me week to week. I also could never deney it. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I have been more blessed in my life then I could ever try to explain to someone. I am happy to go about the Lord's work and thankful to be able to attend His church every week.

How I live my faith

I enjoy calling in church. A calling is basically our job at church, but totally voluntary. I teach class once a month to the women over 18. I am thankful for the opportunity to search and grow in learning and teaching the gospel. I also help out with the scouting program for the young boys as a comittee memeber. I help out with pack meetings. In the past I have taught children from 18 months to high school. I really enjoyed teaching Sunday school to the youth. I taught the 14 year olds. We have some truly amazing youth!! I was privilaged to teach, but mostly learn from them. I am also a visiting teacher. I enjoy this calling very much. It's a great way to make friends! I move around a lot because my husband is in the military and it's so nice to have an instant connection with people. I have found many great friendships this way. I am also thankful for any opportunity to feel the spirit as I teach. It's a welcome feeling amongst the busy day.
